The former Wan Chai Environmental Resource Centre has been transformed into the “kNOw Carbon House” after renovation and will soon be ready to meet the public. With the theme of carbon neutrality, the new “kNOw Carbon House” aims to raise public awareness on the subject through a wide variety of interactive experience and educational activities, including interactive games, talks, environmental workshops, etc. Apart from honouring the original architecture and keeping items with historic value from the Old Wan Chai Post Office, the new “kNOw Carbon House” also provides multimedia educational materials to make your visits more delightful. The well-known mascot “Big Waster” is also there to introduce to all of us how we can lead a low-carbon lifestyle by making small changes in our daily habits in respect of clothing, food, living and travel. 透過本計劃為住宅及工商業樓宇免費提供回收桶，藉以增加大廈的回收設備及擴大可回收物料的種類，協助物業管理公司實踐可行的廢物分類回收模式，從而提高住宅及工商業大廈的回收量。獲發回收桶的住宅及工商業樓宇需自行安排清潔承辦商或廢物回收商，定期到大廈收集回收物料，以供循環再造。

本計劃亦為學校免費提供回收桶，旨在幫助學生認識珍惜資源的重要性及廢物分類的概念；並鼓勵學校將廢紙、金屬及塑膠進行分類及回收。
