To educate young children on the importance of natural resources, foster their awareness on the environment protection and the value of sustainable development, and encourage them to practise low-carbon living through talks, experience days, visits, outdoor classes, picture books and games.

机电工程署于2025年12月17-18日在香港科学园举行「区域供冷创新领域研讨会2025」。大会将汇聚政策制定者、城市规划与机电工程专家、设施运维负责人、全球科技创新企业及顶尖可持续发展专家，共同探讨区域供冷DCS技术前沿、碳中和实施路径，并促进合作，加速区域供冷系统的推广应用。

Organised by the Hong Kong Green Building Council and funded by the Construction Industry Council, the Hong Kong Green Shop Alliance (HKGSA) is pleased to present three “Capacity Building Workshops” tailored for mall and shop operators. Featuring experienced sustainability experts, the workshops will offer interactive exchanges and in‑depth insights into the latest environmental trends in retail.

启德港铁站和宋皇台港铁站的空调都是由启德区域供冷系统供应。启德区域供冷系统是大型的节能环保基建设施，透过地下管道网络将冷冻水输送到各用户大厦用作提供冷气之用。除上述两个港铁站外，启德区域供冷系统现时亦为区内13幢不同政府及私人商业建筑物供应冷冻水，包括机电工程署总部大楼、保良局何寿南小学及香港儿童医院等。是次活动除实地参观区域供冷站外，大家还可以参观机电工程署教育径，深入认识机电工程署的工作。

项目透过亲子行山、环保花艺小组、农场及森林浴体验，强化特殊需要儿童及家长在日常生活实践环保概念的意识，鼓励他们实践低碳生活。
