Fortune City One

• Total of 274 solar panels are installed on rooftop garden to produce stable renewable energy.
• BMS system comparing indoor environment with outdoor temperature, humidity data, the system are able to select the best mode of chiller system for energy saving.
• Shopping mall is fully utilizing LED lighting, part of lighting equipment will be turned off out of mall’s opening hour for energy saving.
• Glass panels of shopping malls are covered by thermal insulation film to prevent direct sunlight and reduce the need of air conditioning.
• Near 100 trees are planted at Fortune Piazza, Farm@Fortune and rooftop garden provided green space for the community.
• Collecting rainwater for irrigation by rainwater collecting system.
• Various recycle facilities were provided at the shopping mall, such as paper, aluminium can, plastic bottle, glass bottle, recyclable batteries and beverage cartons.
• Participating “Pilot Scheme on Food Waste Collection”, collect food waste from tenant on daily basis.
• Fully utilizing umbrella wiper instead of distributing umbrella bags to reduce waste.

Metro Town Shopping Mall

• Use double-sided copying and printing whenever possible

• Post notices in the office to encourage staff to save energy
• Ensure all computers, air-conditioning, lighting and any unnecessary devices are switched off after working hours
• For energy saving, replace existing lighting with LED lights
• Participate in different types of environmental recycling activities including mooncake boxes, batteries, red pockets, etc
• Install sensors on two escalators (low people flow) to activate when someone is approaching.
• Replace AHUs with EC plug fan motor
• Installed fresh air damper for AHUs and controlled by BMS
